5 face masks that feel amazing in less than 5 min.

Let’s face it, many of us can’t really afford spending an afternoon at the SPA getting pampered every week, but we all definitely need it. Life gets busy and it is sometimes hard to stop, breathe, relax, re-energize and keep moving.  I came up with this list of Homemade Face masks because after my second child was born, I promised myself I would give me at least 10 minutes of “me” time per day. What better way to do so than applying a Face Mask that not only will make you feel better, but will also make your skin feel awesome! All the recipes are with things you most likely already have at home. This is literally putting your face mask first!

1. The SOOTHING mask: This mask will help you soothe your irritated or sunburned skin, it will feel refreshing and calming at the same time!

You need:

1 Cup of Natural Greek Yogurt (Full Fat will make your face feel more hydrated)
½ Cup of Oatmeal (you can pulverize it in your blender if you have time, if not combine Oatmeal flaxes with ¼ a cup of hot water, mix and let it cool for a few minutes)
1 Tsp of Honey.

Mix all the ingredients and apply to skin after it has been washed and leave the mask for 10-15 minutes. Remove with lukewarm water.

2. The DETOX mask: This mask will make your face feel moisturized, refreshed, and radiant!

You need:

1 Cup of Natural Greek Yogurt (Full Fat will make your face feel more hydrated)
1 Tsp of Honey
1 Tablespoon of Ground or Instant Coffee
1 Tablespoon of Cocoa Poweder

Mix all the ingredients and apply to skin after it has been washed and leave the mask for 10-15 minutes. Remove with lukewarm water.

3. The REFRESHING mask: Does your face ever feel tired? We all have days were the exhaustion takes over our entire body including our faces! This mask feels so relaxing and is super easy to make (so you don’t get even more exhausted)

You need:

1 half of a ripe banana
2 Tablespoons of honey
1 Tablespoons of Ground Flaxseed

Mix all the ingredients and apply to skin after it has been washed and leave the mask for 10-15 minutes. Remove with lukewarm water.

4. The MOSTURIZING mask: When you don’t have the time to do a full face pampering routine everyday it is very easy for our skin to feel dry and damaged. This easy to do face mask will help your face feel moisture and back to life.

You need:

½ of a ripe avocado (It doesn’t matter if it is super ripe to the point that is browned)
1 Tablespoon of honey
1 Teaspoon of Lemon or Lime Juice.

5.  The PORE CLEANSER: This face mask will help reduce your pore size and remove blackheads on acne prone skin. It is excellent for oily skin, but good for all skin types. Don’t worry, it will not make your face feel stiff and de-hydrated afterwards, it will feel clean and moisturized.

You need:

1 Egg
1 Tablespoon of Honey
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
Mix all the ingredients and apply to skin after it has been washed and leave the mask for 10-15 minutes. Remove with lukewarm water.
